Conference

For your meeting or conference you can rent our auditorium Kokongen on the third floor. It can accommodate up to 30 people in cinema seating, or about 16 people can sit at a table. We have no food service but there are several restaurants in the area where you can eat.

• You have access to a sound system with hearing loop and microphone. For your computer there is WIFI, a 42-inch monitor, projector and projector screen where you can connect your computer with HDMI sockets.
• The room can be rented monday to saturday from 9-21.

Feel free to combine the conference with a tour of the silk mill! 

Price

Daytime, 9-16: 750 SEK/ hour + VAT
Evening time, after 16.00 and weekends: 1500 SEK/ hour + VAT

Price for guided tour is not included.

If you have to cancel, you must do so no later than one week before.

Events

K. A. Almgren silk weaving & museum can also be rented to for various types of events. These can be held both in the old weaving room from the 19th century, and in our attic where our base exhibition is located. On the attic floor, there is also the opportunity to sit, eat and connect to a 42-inch monitor. We are able to offer space for up to 30 people in each room at the same time. 

To enrich your experience, we can also offer guided tours of the weaving mill.
